1. What’s the weather like where you live? (Tips: nói về nơi đang ở, giới thiệu thời tiết vào các mùa khác nhau)
Well, I’m a citizen here in Vietnam and currently I’m living in Ho Chi Minh city. As you probably can tell, Ho Chi Minh city is a tropical country, which is usually really hot. When it comes to weather here, for the most part, the weather is scorching hot and humid year-round. I mean, there had been reports about the heatwaves of over 40 degree Celsius in Ho Chi Minh city in recent years in summer. On the other hand, in winter, it used to be frigid, but now because of the global warming, it’s more pleasant and bearable.
2. Does the weather ever affect what you do?
Absolutely, I mean, when rhe weather is unfavourable like when it’s too sunny, I tend to procrastinate my plans until the afternoon like after 5 or 6 p.m. Because it’s when the temperature lowers a little bit. On the other hand, when it’s rainy for too long or torrential raining, I won’t go outside but just stay inside and have a hot chocolate.

Well I gotta say it’s definitely autumn. Well, Ho Chi Minh city possesses 4 distinct seasons in a year. In the summer month, it’s sweltering and stuffy, and I’m sure you cannot make it through summer without an air conditioner. And too me, winter is too cold and it rains alot in spring. So hand-downs, autumn is my go-to season. It’s a mild and pleasant transitional season with cool breezes. And the color changing of the leaves on the streets is so romantic and it makes me nostalgic about my childhood.

Topic 2. Housework ( domestic task, household chores.
1. Do you often do housework at home?
Well, of course, I do housework ona regular basis. This is because doing household chores is a norm in most Vietnamese household. And my mom, she is always occupied with her work so I ‘d like to give her a hand. However, when I’m too busy with my studies, mom definitely wont let me do anything but just pay attention to my work.
What kind of housework do you often do? ( Bình luận đối với từng công việc)
Well, I do all source of things. For the most part, I’m in charge of cleaning my own room everyday. And then I’ll do the dishes, it’s a real hassle because I’m allergic to the washing detergent. An I also cook with my mom but I dont mind that because cooking is my forte.
Did you do housework when you were a child?
Well, absolutely but for the most part, I was exempted from doing housework that is too physically demanding. I just had to do some menial task like sweeping the floors, and sometimes I ran some errands for my mom like buying some groceries.
